In early 2009, I was watching a TV show about the exploding popularity of cupcakes, both on the East and West coasts in the US.  

Seeing as my background was retailing apparel from a kiosk; I wondered if a kiosk could be intended and designed for the sole purpose of retailing bakery goods.  

I designed and opened my original cupcake kiosk in Sept.  2009. To my knowledge, this was the first kiosk specifically designed for the purpose of retailing cupcakes.

Subsequently, I took my Grandmother’s recipes, along with hiring an experienced, skilled pastry chef, and developed a line of Jumbo Gourmet Cupcakes that has uniquely spear headed our success.  

Presently we operate three kiosk bakeries with the intention of opening one to two more soon.   Our long-term goal to set up a model program to have owner operators in other cities, with the enthusiasm and excitement that Happy Belly’s exudes.
